Mr Henry To is a Breast, General and Laparoscopy Surgeon and Endoscopist.

He has completed training and has professional memberships with General Surgery
Australia and Breast Surgeons Australia/New Zealand (BreastSurgANZ). His surgical
interests are in Breast Surgery and General Surgery (hernia and lump/lesion surgery).

Henry completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2003 with Honours. He gained his surgical fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016 with training positions at the Alfred and Royal Melbourne Hospitals. He has completed additional post-fellowship training in General/Breast/Endocrine Surgery at the Northern Hospital Melbourne, Lyell McEwin Hospital Adelaide and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. He has had short-term surgical observerships in Hong Kong, Taiwan and France.

Henry completed a PhD in cancer genetics through the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 2014. He has completed a Masters of Surgical Education in 2020 with thesis focus on trainee well-being. He is a current research lecturer and supervisor for the University of Melbourne.

Henry is one of the junior doctor training supervisors and consultant surgeon at the
Werribee Mercy Public Hospital. He also holds an honorary education and training
surgeon position at the Northern Hospital, Epping. He continues research and teaches in
areas of surgical education, surgical communication and professional skills development.

Henry would like to offer all patients holistic surgical care, with a focus on compassionate and comprehensive treatment for cancer and general conditions. He has a referral network of equally compassionate doctors for areas outside of his expertise. He is available for telehealth and e-consults with general practitioners and primary health care providers.
